About Us
Inspire Children Foundation was founded in 2007 by Christine Beardmore, a marriage, child & family therapist. Aware of the impact that unresolved trauma has on children and the adults they become, she wanted to do something to help prevent the psychological and physical impairments that trauma causes.
Christine created the Inspire Children Foundation to fund projects that prevent and resolve the traumatic stress caused by childhood adversity such as poverty, maltreatment and loss. She was soon joined by Board Members and volunteers who are dedicated to inspiring bright futures for “overlooked” children. They believe that every time a child is lifted up, the world benefits.
